CATHIE RIGBY
for County Commissioner

LET'S BUILD Tomorrow Together

Leadership is about service, not status. It’s about listening before speaking, solving problems instead of scoring points, and remembering that every decision affects real people. This campaign isn’t about me — it’s about us. If we want change, we need to build it together. That starts with showing up, speaking clearly, and voting for a better path forward.

Let's make change happen!

Read Cathie's MPP Capstone Paper!

Housing affordability is one of the most critical issues facing Lincoln County. Cathie has been working on this for years, including a focus on housing policy when completing her master’s degree at University of Utah. Several community leaders have requested and read her MPP capstone paper on this topic, and now you can too. Click the image below.

Thank you, Lincoln County!

I am so grateful for this community and the support I have received. Thank you for your comments, texts, congratulations, and hugs!! Many volunteers, friends, neighbors, and community organizations have been essential to getting me this far. This would not have been possible without your time and commitment.

I’m so very proud that we ran a campaign that stayed focused on a single positive message: that we need to build tomorrow together!

I grew up in a working‑class coastal community, raised by a widowed mother doing everything she could to support five children. When rising costs forced us to leave our home, I learned firsthand what it means to lose a community. As I raised my own family, I worked hard, built a small business, and pursued my education one class at a time — always carrying the lessons of resilience, sacrifice, and determination.

I’m running for Lincoln County Commissioner because I believe every person who calls this place home deserves the chance to build a stable, healthy, and hopeful life here.

Key issues

I will work to ensure Lincoln County remains a place where people can stay, grow, and thrive. That means strengthening our local economy, expanding attainable housing, supporting working families, and protecting the coastal environment that defines who we are.

Economic Development & Mobility

Let’s create real pathways from education to good-paying jobs, from renting to homeownership, from surviving to thriving. Government should enable local businesses, not hinder them.

Affordable Housing

Every person should have access to an affordable, reliable, and safe place to call home. This is not just an economic issue; it’s a human one.

Health & Human Services

In order for our community to thrive, we must ensure that every person has access to basic health care needs, including shelter and nutritious food.

Improved Transportation

Better transportation — including walkable communities and safe, dependable public transit systems — is essential to our county’s resilience and growth.

Let's build tomorrow together.

This campaign is an investment in the future of Lincoln County. When you pitch in, you’re helping me reach more voters, host more conversations, and show what we can do when we work together.
